Moose calf beds down -- briefly.

When I found this moose bed, I had to try it out. Very comfortable. It turns out the moose only lay in it for a couple of minutes earlier in the day. You can see here that his mom moved him on after a couple of minutes.

January moose, odd antlers

When I skied through the orchard yesterday, it was obvious that two moose had passed through. A cow and calf, I figured. I was surprised to see instead that it was two young bulls on consecutive evenings. Both came close enough to the camera for us to see their misshapen antlers.

Moose bed
