Alden Smith
I've spent the last decade studying a remote apple orchard in the woods of Taylor Valley, Vermont. I've released dozens of apple trees, restored a spring, and monitored the bears and other wildlife who use the orchard. When I'm not in the bear orchard, I'm running the Mountain School of Milton Academy in Vershire, Vermont and living with my wife Missy and our children, Ella and Alden.
